We get a lot of this:

Hello,
I am a music producer. I have created a series of custom loop files for other musicians to use for royalty-free purposes. I was wondering about how I could go about selling my custom loop files to your company for exclusive distribution and use. If you are interested, please let me know and I can send a snippet track

Thank you for your consideration.

Hello! We are licensed under Creative Commons – that kinda kills the idea with exclusive distribution and use.

Hello! We don’t need snippet tracks. High quality diverse wave format audio… and just zip it up and send it off. This isn’t a Hitchcock thriller, we don’t need to build more suspense about our audio updates – we are slow enough as it is.

We don’t charge for music samples. We won’t pay for yours.

Also, since you are contacting us in the way you are (this is a general ‘you’) – completely lacking details … it’s quite apparent that you’d be trying to sell these about 117 other places and sites.

We also get a lot of linkexchange questions/mails. But that’s a whole other story … We’ll publish some as a laugh soon.

Hmmm… They’re probably trying to sell you beats they made with your free sample packs and loops! Sell beats! Why didn’t you fellas think of that, with a name like ibeat?

If I were you guys, ibeat some sense into them!
