Well, almost. At least everything seems to be working. So hopefully we can now all get back to what it’s really about: making music.
The update spans all iBeat areas. Besides getting cluttered stuff out of the way, and trimming the backend, this update is about visibility.
We’ve talked about it on the team, but what made us react on the subject, was Beatmans forum post, about not being able to find iBeat (easily) and not even remembering how he got here.
We decided not to categorise him as a typical weed-smoking drunk bass player, and added pulicizising to the audio.ibeat section. You can bookmark every single entry - or post it on your blog.
Besides this, we’ve migrated to incorporate Wordpress so we can do some blogging. Some smartass told us that was a smart thing to do.
We’d sure would like to think it’s a user-friendly update. But we can’t tell. Perhaps you have something to say on the subject - go ahead!
Last, but not least, this update goes hand in hand with upcoming content updates. We are speeding up audio uploads, adding more producers - and a whole lot more.
But more about that later.
