audio sample downloads and Mac Camino Browser compatibility issues

We noticed some are having problems pulling down the samples from the archive. In particular the wav files, when using the Camino Mac browser.

For now, we’d recommend using Safari, which has been tested and found working. On other platforms Opera, Internet Explorer and Firefox are doing a pretty good job, even though there are a few funky graphical results.

If you are experiencing any problems, please do let us know, and we will look into solutions. This also goes for audio in general – we try to wrap our head around usability, but the best feedback is always from actual users.

    That sucks. Fucking shit technology.

One of the producers have experienced the same randomness. I’ll look into this and post a general solution… I’ll be contacting you directly over mail to troubleshoot.

We are checking whether or not this is a fault on ISP level or from the drunken depths of iBeats technical ’staff’.

If you have trouble as posted by Wade above, try running the command ipconfig /flushdns (just go to start -> run and type, depending on your OS). If that doesn’t work try testing with OpenDNS (find guides here: https://www.opendns.com/smb/start/computer/).
